Testimonials

Both the instructors understand the intricacies of teamwork and present it to the audience in a way that is both educational and fun at the same time. Their team building activity during the workshop was simple yet challenging for the students and forced us to think outside the box. Thankyou for giving us the knowledge that we can apply to the multitude of opportunities that we will be presented with in our future careers in the realm of inter-professional collaboration.

"Inspiring, Authentic, and Dynamic….Barbara and Marcia exemplify all of the fine qualities that I admire and aspire to share their creative vision of professional leadership in health care so that we actually bring our whole person to our senior level positions. It's truly a pleasure and I am looking forward to discovering new found possibilities to enhance my leadership skills through my continued collaboration and work with them".

What would I change about your workshop? Nothing. I can't think of a thing.
Overall, I think I have much improved self-awareness which is the key to making positive change. I hope that this means that I will understand my own reactions better, be able to take out my emotions, and make my intentions clear to get some work done! Sounds easy…Thank you both so much. I really feel like I have so many more new skills to help me be an even better me!!!

Again the day was such a treat and I truly love this type of opportunity that allows me to focus on personal/professional growth! This is the type of discussion that I enjoy bringing to the staff I work with, and I continually try to challenge them to broaden their perspectives. Thank you so much for your insights, the information you provided and the thought you provoked

The nurse leaders at the BC Nursing Leadership Institute loved working with Marcia and Barbara. The workshop sessions on conflict management were informative and "insightful," and Marcia and Barbara knew how to draw out participation from the audience without the awkward role plays that often happen during conflict management workshops. Nurse leaders stated that they got the "meat and potatoes-and gravy" from Barbara and Marcia's conflict management session. In addition to conflict management, Marcia and Barbara provided excellent content and facilitated great discussion on teamwork and team "derailers." Marcia and Barbara were one of the highlights of the leadership workshop for nurse leaders from around the province.

" In chairing the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation 2020 Task Force working group on health human resource issues, the Health Sciences Association of BC chose Casson and Choi to spearhead our research across British Columbia. Their process and reporting were exemplary! The Task Force was so impressed they chose Casson and Choi to lead several other projects associated with our mission. HSA has now brought Casson and Choi in to help develop our staff leadership."

Reid W. Johnson,
President The Health Sciences Association of BC
